“Scott Free, aka the Pink Sinatra, is a pink leather-suited (sic) singer who insists he’s not a Sinatra tribute act, although he croons a fair few Ol’ Blue Eyes favourites as well as encouraging sing- and sway-alongs to easy listening hits by various Rat Packers and Andy Williams. We’re in the realms of the G word here: Free is as *gallus as all getout, a decent song and dance man and a fun host who likes to get everyone involved, even if it means trying, and just about managing, to surf the third row. “If you are looking for an hour’s solid entertainment in the company of a lovely guy with a wonderful voice look no further.  The Pink Sinatra really engages with his audience.  Every song is a winner and there are plenty of opportunities for a sing-a-long.  Leave your inhibitions at the door and you might find yourself enjoying a twirl on stage with Mr P Sinatra himself (especially if you are an attractive young man…) Several members of the audience including our entire row ended up on stage high kicking to New York New York.  In addition to the Sinatra/Rat Pack songbook there are plenty of more unusual choices which Scott Free manages to bring a real emotional depth to and these were the highlights of the show for me.
